Alexandra Houston is the founder of Charmskool Shop, Wasted Chic and Le Boutique Bazaar, and has dedicated her career to scouting, supporting and developing the most exciting independent designers.

With a background in fashion PR, styling, costume design and producing rave events in the early 2000s, she later worked with ASOS, Depop and Poshmark, helping to discover and nurture emerging talent. After launching her own pop-up events in 2014, Alexandra saw firsthand the powerful communities that form around independent businesses and set out to bring that same special experience online for a global audience.

Today, Charmskool exists as an online marketplace, as a buzzy London Showroom, and through international pop-up events. Alexandra is now joined by a small, passionate, all-female team, united by a shared mission to champion boundary-pushing creativity and help independent brands thrive.
