Locally Felled spalted Beech spanking paddle
A paddle with a repeating pattern perfectly spaced then stepped down and back up. This isn't your average paddle. This is a serious addition to your collection. The design has been crafted to perfection, with stepped contours that you can run your tongue safely along.
But don't be fooled by its elegance - this paddle has a bite in its tail up close to the handle shaft. With plenty of sensory play and edge on the face as well as the sides, this paddle is perfect for those looking to spice things up. It is also a very light weight compared to your arverage paddle. And when it's time to cool things down, the dead flat finish on the rear will help to soothe and relax.
To begin the process, the boards are sanded down to a high finish before any carving takes place. With over 30 years of experience, I then hand-finish each paddle after carving, meticulously following the grain to achieve the best possible finish. Four coats of food-safe wax are applied and buffed to highlight the intricate details in the grain, resulting in a natural, frictionless finish that is effortless to clean with a damp cloth. I will provide a small tin and instructions on how to keep this heavyweight in top condition for many years to come, as it deserves. Additionally, a cotton bag is included for storage.

This is the paddle you will receive.
As wood is a very subjective medium and very difficult to really judge from a screen I will happy accept returns with 14 days.
You will also be liable for any import duties that may occur.
