Hot cerise pink hat with draped silk cowl
This dramatic hat is made from bold cerise pink wool felt, hand-blocked over a unique base shape. It is the finished with a double drape of 100% silk fabric to form a cowl, evocative of 80s catwalk and editorial style millinery pieces. It would look wonderful paired with 80s power shoulders, or could be perfect for a romantic costume outfit of drapery and scarves in jewel colours.
The draped fabric measures approx 20cm wide, stitched with one layer deliberately twisted to add volume. The felt base has a distinctive notch formed at the back, and the edge of the hat is wired for stability and bound in matching traditional petersham ribbon. The inside circumference measures approx 55cm - please take into account hairstyles and wigs when measuring.

As a handmade marketplace, each of our designers have their own production schedule, so processing times can vary from item to item.
You'll find the estimated production time on each product page. If you need an item by a specific date, you can also filter products by processing time while browsing. Alternatively, use the "Message The Designer" button on the product page to contact the designer directly. In some cases, they may be able to complete your order sooner than the estimated timeframe.
